Yes, they are thin sheets, but the quality of the cotton is first class. I too usually buy 500 or more thread sheets but I am familiar with Laura Ashley so I bought these anyway and she did not disappoint! The sheets are so soft and gentle to the skin and they iron do easily. washed several times already and they remain beautiful and soft. I now have 4 sets and will like end up buying the whole collection.

After two washes looking like very old sheet, not at all happy with product. getting lot of wrikles and its not smooth..

These sheets were very soft out of the package. I washed them and put them on my bed. I have to say I am a bit disappointed. I think I can almost see through the sheets! I always try to buy 100% cotton sheets and have had great luck with Macy's in the past, but these sheets are not the best. I also gave a set to my daughter for Christmas, and haven't heard how she likes them.
