Pretty but torn
I purchased this for a King bed and it was beautiful but didn't hold up. After about 2 months of use, it got a big L-shaped tear in it. Not sure if it was from our cats, our washing machine or both.

Very thin and wrinkles a lot. Also hard to iron. Design is very nice tho.

This set is okay. It gets very wrinkly from washing. Fabric and colors are true to the pictures. Don’t love the button closure. Particularly disappointed in the corner ties for the duvet, they’re cheap ribbon that is too slippery. The ties are weak and thin so I don’t anticipate it securing the comforter inside the cover.

I was looking for a serene (not busy) earthy pattern in shades of greens and browns. From the picture, this was a good fit (I would have chosen the green, but it had bad reviews). However, unlike the picture, the background (cream) color is closer to white than brown. So the pattern stands out more than I wanted - more bright than serene. The material is thinner and more "crisp" than soft, but is comfortable enough. It is acceptable, and I am keeping it, but if I saw this in-store, I would not have chosen it. Unfortunately, the selection in-store is dismally limited.
Laura Ashley Quality is poor on this item
This duvet was very cheap quality , fabric was stiff, scratchy and does not feel like 100% cotton. I'm sure it would be a little nicer after washing but the thread count is very low, The backing fabric is a super cheap netting type, not meant for someone to have near their skin, feels like acrylic! I have purchased Laura Ashley bedding in the past, the quality was very good. This set is sub standard.
