Color not same as picture & very dry

I was so looking forward to receiving this lipstick. Unfortunately, the color pictured online was a very light pink. In person, it was not. Its more of a very light peach. The title of this lipstick says "smoothing." It was not. It went on extremely dry. I had to add a light pink lip gloss to get the color and texture right. I would not recommend purchasing this lipstick. So disappointed because I love Laura Mercier's makeup in general.

Do not buy the refill

The one star is for the looks of it. It's a refill that looks cheap and dreadful, hard to hold and use. I feel that this is a ruse, because the picture on the website was not like this at all. I feel cheated. But, the actual bullet in this horrible case is good. Since I have no case, though, it is useless to me.

There is nothing comparable

It goes on so smoothly and turns into a soft matte. Never caking and drying. Stays on for a long time.
