I am on my 3rd winter with this coat, and have been very pleased. It is well tailored with gently sloped shoulders and a tapered waist so the fit is flattering. I bought a size 42 which is true to size. I can wear a suit jacket under it but usually just wear a sweater or fleece when it gets really cold. It has worn well, and still looks fresh and new. The fabric is soft and drapes well - no wrinkles or creases or bagginess. The one change that would improve the coat for me is a higher armhole, so that when you raise your arm above your head the coat accommodated this better. Also there could be a little more fabric across the front button closure; it's OK but I would prefer another inch or two of fabric overlap when you button the front. I consider it a medium-weight winter coat; it does not weigh a lot or feel heavy when you wear it and in Chicago-area cold weather I need at least one other layer (a sweater or fleece) to stay warm ion colder days. It's a pricey coat, and I was apprehensive when I bought it, but have been quite pleased and am glad I purchased it. I hope to wear it for at least ten years.
Nicely tailored - both inside and out
Overcoat is nicely tailored both inside and out. The look, feel and the warmth of the cashmere sets this coat apart from a wool & cashmere blend coat. The inside is fully lined and attention to detail is evident. This overcoat fits very nicely over a suit or sport-coat jacket.
Sleeves are very wide
Ordered online. Beautiful coat but is on the thin side. The sleeves are very wide and would only be good if you are wearing a suit jacket under it. The coat was returned.
