pretty but..
these gloves are very pretty but... the overall look, from afar, is classy, especially the lipstick red color. however, in reality, the material is not very high end at all. it is super thin and kind of resembles paper. thank goodness for those who appreciate designer goods, the buttons, which are super small, do have the RL initials on them. you may need a magnifying glass, but they are there. this way you can justify keeping them as they are indeed ralph lauren. I would also keep these because the rock-bottom price is right. however, I would not gift them unless you know the gift recipient well enough to know that they would appreciate the gesture and that it would end there. these are not impressive by any means. sorry RL, not sorry. oh, sigh... xoxo
Soft, but . . .
Tag says: 70% wool, 20% nylon, 10% cashmere I'm a knitter who loves cashmere and tiny soft woolen stitches, and so I love these gloves. But they are not great gloves. They are not very warm -- probably fine for waiting for the car to warm up, not good for standing at the bus stop on a cold snowy day. The touch-tips are on the thumb & pointer fingers and are not reliable at all, although that might improve if you sized down.
Love these gloves!
I love these gloves, the quality seems great, the "touch" factor seems ok. you can unlock your phone and browse but they may not be your best bet for texting. I bought a M ( for reference, I'd say I have slim hands and use a 7.5 in Coach gloves) and it fits great.
Best Gloves Ever!
These thin woolen gloves are the best ! Excellent for any hands, but especially for small hands as they are not bulky. The warmest gloves ever while still thin and taking shape of your fingers. They nicely fold into a coat pocket without needing much room.I bought many different pairs. I prefer those without embellishment or buttons, as those buttons or threads of embellishment are the first to wear out. I recommend them greatly for every day use like driving, shopping, walking, but not rough use.
Disappointed
Gloves are warm, but the whole reason I purchased them was to be able to use my phone with them; and I cannot use my iPhone with them on.

Beautiful glove but did not fit. I was so disappointed. I ordered red and they were really pretty, but too tight for my bigger hands
Simply Elegant
I am very pleased with the quality of these gloves. The button styling is just enough to make them pretty and not overstated. I have not worn them outside but they seem to have enough weight to be comfortable for wearing as intended...Super fit and not bunching at all. Can't wait to wear them....I purchased the Heather Grey
