Great style but strange length

The style is cool and the pants sturdy. For me they fall midway along the calf, and they flare a bit. I would prefer either full length or below the knee without the flare. I guess it will look okay with sandals but I am considering tailoring them.

No stretch

It says they have elastin and stretch but they do not. Very tight in the waist and big in the legs.
