Disappointed so far

I love Ralph Lauren bedding. The Spencer sheets have been my “go to” sheets for a long time. Before them it was the 600tc sateen RL sheets. I also have the beautiful navy diamond stitch quilt set & the white with navy sateen border duvet set. And, along with my annual Black Friday sheets this year, I bought another quilt. Basically I’m a RL addict. ;) So, that said, I washed this blanket. It’s still folded and hanging over the banister. I’m not going to return it because I got it soooo cheap! And it’s the color I want. So what’s the problem? It’s a very loose weave. Like I can see between the strings loose. It’s probably on purpose so it breathes and layers well. Idk. I haven’t made the bed since it arrived. My concerns are my Scotties. We play on the bed. They get excited and dig. All of my other bedding is high thread count and too tight for their nails to damage. I’m afraid this blanket will look bad within weeks. I’ll try to remember to update this review in a few months.
