Moth balls around your waist

It’s soooooooo SOOOOOOOO STINKY! So sad because it’s so cute but the thing reeks, I tried perfume dosing it with perfume but the overpowering stench quickly returned. I feel like in pandemic times truly it could come In handy keeping people away

I bought this belt to help cinch and accentuate my waist when wearing my vintage clothing. Was a little hesitant because of what other users said about there being an odor, luckily, my belt had no odor and its very nice and well made. would definitely recommend

Stinky belt

Well the belt itself is fine from the point of view that it is cute and does the job. But the stench was abysmal. Since I couldn’t return it and frankly needed a belt I soaked it in a bath of pure white vinegar for about 12 hours and that cut down the mold smell a lot. Then I set it in the sun and sprayed with Lysol. It’s bearable now but by no means completely gone. I had to treat it because it was stinking up the house. I could through it away because it bought two and needed them but frankly I was hoping to return them. Since that still can’t happen due to Covid I think Macy’s needs to either send new non moldy belts or refund money. If they want then back then so be it but they should just chalk this up to a huge mistake and refund money or send new non smelly ones. Based upon the other reviews I assume there aren’t any that don’t smell in the warehouse. To be fair I have it contacted Macy’s, except for this review because I’ve had bigger fish to fry during this pandemic.

Stinks terribly.

It smells incredibly bad like it's been moldy or something. It's absolutely perfect in style and what I wanted but it stinks so bad I can't wear it.

Terrible smell. Otherwise very nice belt.

The belt looks and feels very nice. I thought I bought a leather belt but I think I just got confused after looking at so many belts. I probably wouldn't have noticed that it wasn't leather if not for the terrible smell that permeated the house when I opened it. I am trying to air it out and hope that helps, otherwise I will probably return it.

Terrible. It is a nice looking belt but the smell from the belt is terrible.

Well made and Great fitting Belt!

This belt is both stretchy & does not have belt "holes" so it is going to fit perfect no matter what. Love it. I only wish the hardware was silver.
