Flap comes open while wearing

This is a beautiful bag but the lock keeps coming open and I worry that things will fall out of the bag. I think there is a design defect in the little golden rectangle that you turn to lock the flap on the bag. It's too bad because I think I am going to have to stop using this bag and donate it.
