Vintage like fabric for a classic look and fit
Lovely spot coat overall: the fabric is vintage like, with warm earth tones and a prince of wales pattern. It drapes well and most importantly has no synthetic elements. The notch lapel's width and placement is on point. I like the patch pocket design, which lends to a more casual look (would love to see more sport jackets made with patch pockets), however I would've like it more if they weren't bellowed. The jacket's length is another aspect that I highly favour, unlike the short ones that are more commonly found on the market. It could use a wee bit of shortening for my height. There is some light balanced padding on the shoulders which brings a more structured look. My only gripe is the button placement on the front; I would've liked it if it were a tad higher. I also generally favour a two button closure, but that's a minor detail. I highly recommend this garment, and sure hope RL brings more tweeds and patterns especially come autumn and winter.
