Great pants, but sizing varies batch to batch

Been using these pants for MANY years through multiple purchases. Overall looks, durability and wearability are great. My only issue is that sizing varies over the batches and years. I've always bought 36x34, but the actual waist size has varied +/- 1" with tighter waist also having less space/material around hips and thighs. My last purchase had great (average) waist size, but the length seems 1-1.5 inches longer that previous buys. Still the best I've found in wearing these almost daily for the last 20 years.

Ralph Lauren Big and Tall clothing

Excellent choice for my 25-year-old son. He is big and tall men's clothing, and I was having a hard time getting him fitted without a lot of alterations which were overpriced. Ralph Laure fit him perfectly and is not an old man looking pair of pants.

Pants Fit Smaller Than Advertised

Second suit from Macy's in two years with the pants fitting smaller than advertised. Disappointing to have to spend time finding another option.
