Bad smell
I just have to echo other reviewers that it does have a really bad smell. I wish I had read their reviews before purchasing, it’s obviously not a one off problem.

Gorgeous!
I love this comforter and the entire set! I purchased the entire set shown in the photo except navy blue sheets instead of the white and absolutely love it! When I first opened the comforter package I was concerned it would look too flat on the bed. I went ahead and washed it and it fluffed up a bit. It has some fluff/ definition to it on the bed. One review mentioned a horrible smell to it, that wasn’t the case for me, it didn’t have a smell at all really. It’s a quality made comforter with quality fabric. It feels cozy and soft and is so pretty! It looks classy on its own but I recommend getting the whole set if you can, it’s gorgeous and worth every penny!

Worth It
I’m sure we all know how expensive the Ralph Lauren bedding can be, especially the shams/throw pillows. I wanted to purchase this whole bedding set but was hesitant about spending so much on all the shams / pillows. I’ve never spent so much on bedding in my life. I splurged and bought the navy shams along with everything else. It was all worth the money. The shams are so pretty and the fabric feels amazing! You can definitely tell they’re high quality. The fabric is thick and durable, the zipper is strong and sewn in well and they have a soft, cool , slick feel to them. I’ve already washed and dried them, they came out looking perfect! Didn’t have any issues with wrinkling, shrinkage or puckering around the zipper like cheaper shams. I can tell these will hold up well and last a long time. I recommend them and the whole set!

Quality Control-Package n item smelled like urine
Return # 2980733345 I like this item, but when I received it yesterday, I thought the box stunk like urine. It was very strong. When I opened the box, the heavy duty plastic bag the comforter was in smelled as well. When I unzipped the bag, the comforter smelled. It was really strong - my husband put the box in the garage because it was so bad. I've arranged for its return, but you need to check for HOW THIS COULD HAPPEN!
