Yes, it absolutely sheds

I agree with the other reviews. The feathers are poking through the exterior of the coat and shedding on my pants and sweater. Visually a nice coat, but very disappointed in the performance. I'm giving it 3 stars for style and details only..

Beware! It sheds!

This coat gets a couple of stars because it’s absolutely adorable and fits perfectly. The problem is the down filling works it’s way out of the shell. I wore it once! My car seat is covered with down. To make matters worse I wore it with a black turtleneck which was totally covered with down when I took the coat off. A lint roller did little to remove the down from my top. Very disappointed in this coat for the price and label.

I wouldn’t recommend

Purchased this coat and had to return it Poorly manufactured, feathers poke out every seam Wore it once and left my car seat full of tiny feathers.

Love this coat

I've wanted this coat for a couple of years now, but could not find it the petite size. I was searching the other day and found that Macy's had this coat in petite sizes. I was so excited and ordered it in size p/xs and it fits perfectly. I just love this coat and I'm so happy Macys had it in petite sizes. Since I ordered it, there has been a mark down from the price I paid so I called Customer Service and they give me the new discounted price on it. It was delivered in less than a week. I am very happy with this purchase, If your thinking about it, do it, you won't regret it. The coat is practical, slimming, beautiful and will never go out of style, You can detach the hood and fold it up in the bag that comes with it for traveling. It's truly a winner!!
