Took forever to dry, and flattened ouy

I bought this item with high hopes, it's a beautiful bath mat. When I washed it following directions, it came out of the washer sopping wet. It then took almost 2 hours to dry, and the pattern flattened out.

Not a good color..,

I ordered the stone gray but it was more like a sage green. Had to return the set. Quality is nice.
