Trim Disappoints

I bought these to go with the RL duvet cover which I had purchased a month earlier. Prior to putting on my bed, I washed them on delicate in cool water and delicate settings for a low temp tumble dry. I was bummed to see the green trim, fraying and the white underneath, showing through. And it sort of 'balled up' and is bumpy. Because I delayed putting them on my bed after I purchased them in July, I fear the return window has closed but will head to Macys anyway and plead my case. I love them - but the trim frays looks horrible.

This set is very classic and worth the price. The pillowcases are full size not queen. I bought the set because i thought sateen was like satin, but it's more like cotton.

I love the way it looks . I wish the fabric was a better quality of cotton but it looks so pretty and elegant! I bought on sale at very good price. So cant complain much! Overall happy woth purchase.
