I love stripes..half my closet is filled with all kinds for striped tops. I picked a (2X) for a relaxed fit. I tried it on and noticed it was cropped shorter than what I am used to..I still liked it as I have never had trouble with RL clothes shrinking. After I washed and half way dried, it looked like a size large. I cannot wear it. I doubt any size 2X woman, unless very tall and thin, could wear it. What a disappointment.
