Nice quality AND match the wool jackets
I found them to be slightly big, but I wash (cold water, hang to dry) my jeans and pants. If I was planning to dry clean them I could go a size down. As it is I am happy with the fit and as I mentioned, the color blue and the light purple do match the wool jackets very nicely. They appear to be well made and should give me many seasons of wear.

Not Slim Fit
These are not slim fit. They have large curves at the hips that puff out and the legs are very wide. Description says inseam is 28.5 inches. I wear an inseam of 28-29 for full length fit. These are about 2 inches longer than 28.5 and would require hemming. I would hem them if the overall fit was good but they are not slim enough. I ordered size 8 and am most often a size 8. I would consider exchanging for size 6, but the color I want (tan) is not available in size 6. Also, the waist on the size 8 fits so it would likely be too small on a size 6. These pants are proportioned for a very loose fit for a woman who is larger in the hips. Very disappointed.
Fit Varies By Color
The bright clay chinos do not fit as well as the same size (16) in the capri water (blue) chinos. Ralph Lauren same sizes typically vary by color. That is not a good thing.
High rise and not cropped
I thought Macy's sent the wrong pants. The length is regular not cropped and they are high rise. I've ordered to other pairs of Ralph Lauren and they were cropped and mid rise as stated in the description. These pants were also too big. Stick with your old sizing Ralph!
