Love the the fit and the quality can’t wear it in the summer time because it’s too thick
Super long sleeves
Beautiful fabric and it looks like it would not wrinkle at all. For me, the problem is the fit. The sleeves are 4 inches too long, yet the shirt just barely closes over my chest. I ordered XL hoping to fit my chest, but the sleeves are out of proportion, IMO. Soft blouses seem to work better for me.
High Quality, wrinkle resistant shirt
I bought this shirt for my teen daughter, because she needed a button-down shirt to wear with slacks to a nice dinner. This shirt is made of a perfect weight of fabric (not too thin, not too thick); is wash-and-wear without any ironing needed; and fits her well, with a little room for movement...I guess you could call it a relaxed fit, but not too loose. She normally wears a Small and the Small on this shirt is true to size. The cuffs have a good diameter opening, also. A different brand button-down shirt I bought recently was too tight in the cuff area, so I was happy when these cuffs were sized perfectly for a normal-sized person's wrist. The purple and blue stripe fabric pattern is also very nice and classy. And the length is long enough to tuck into pants, although the shirt also looks good untucked.
Usual Ralph Lauren quality, runs small in arms
I own many button down cotton Ralph Lauren Non Iron Shirts. This particular blue shirt has a subtle pattern woven into it that I love. The quality is, as expected, high. However, what I found with all LRL button down cotton shirts that are not the AARON model (striped pink, striped black, striped blue and plain white) is that the width of the arms right around the elbow area runs very, very small. I am small, can wear a S and sometimes an XS in the other Non Iron LRL shirt. The small fits great everywhere (length, shoulders, arm length, girth ) except for the very tight fit in the lower arm region. I have had this experience with any LRL non Iron shirts that are not the ones specified above. Just a heads up for those with thicker arms. I am absolutely keeping it, and love the way it looks. Just a little uncomfortable in the arms. I have gotten these shirts in a Med and they are quite long and a bit big for my size (6).
