Lovely, elegant, understated dress

This dress made me love dresses again. It’s light enough to stay cool but doesn’t wrinkle, it’s flattering on my curves and its timeless versatility is great for work, parties, weddings, and formal occasions without being too showy. I do agree with some reviews that that the neckline can be a bit loose but this can easily be fixed with small adjustments or additions.

Very good quality

I bought this to be a go-to for funerals, which is a rather glum reason, but that’s the context for my review. It is very tasteful overall, though I wish there was a tiny bit more coverage in the chest. I was skeptical about anything labeled “jersey” as I typically prefer natural fibers, but the quality of the fabric pleasantly surprised me. It’s substantial and drapes very well, giving you a smooth silhouette. If you need a dress that is understated and elegant, it’s a good choice.
