December wedding guest dress and dinner party

Bought this dress to wear as a guest for a December wedding. The style and fabric for my heavier frame (size 16) make me feel feminine and not like I'm stuffed into or trapped in the dress. Even my upper arms don't look like sausages! I wore it a couple of weeks ago for a dinner party and received so many compliments from both men and women. I usually buy next size up for Ralph Lauren, and did so this time, too. However due to fit & flare style, i could have purchased my actual size.

Not true to size listed

The back was huge. The size 4 was even too big. I thought about having it tailored but it was already expensive.

CLEAVAGE!

This dress was amazing. Good quality. Loved the fabric, pattern, a-line cut and the sleeves! BUT…. It is way too low cut! Maybe it’s made for someone with very small breasts. Disappointing. Had to return!

Gorgeous print, not for the busty

It’s a beautiful dress, but didn’t really work for me— too small in bust. Sizing up would make it look sloppy.
