Beautiful except sizing seems to run large

Excellent quality—moderate weight linen. Beautiful pattern and colors. Unfortunately, the small was way too big—seems to run large. I’m usually an XS but took a chance on the S as it was the smallest size available at Macy’s. But the S was much larger than I expected, even with the elastic waistband on sides and back and drawstring in front. I returned and ordered XXS directly from RL website.
