Very cheaply made for the price

I wanted to love this coat, especially from such a classic brand. But this was very cheaply made for the price. The fabric was a low quality and very thin. It felt more like a Shein or H&M coat than a Ralph Lauren. It was also on the long side for a petite. I ended up returning it.

Exceeds my expectations in both quality and craftsmanship. Fits true to size. Material is soft and very comfortable.

Check The Size Guidelines

I was really confused as to what size to order. Finally used my best judgement. Used the size guidelines, measured, and ordered accordingly. We are all built differently. Some have larger hips, some larger busts. As for myself, I’m 130 lbs and 5’. The size 8 fits perfectly with a sweater. I live in Chicago area. It will be a perfect weight for in and out of the car, around town etc. It would not be warm enough to walk down Michigan Ave on our coldest days. It’s a very well made coat. Yes it has TWO pockets. They are sewn closed. Open carefully with a seam ripper or manicure scissors.

Beautiful but size up

Love this classy, high-quality coat! I usually wear 6P in Ralph Lauren but the top button was too tight over my bust with all but the thinnest blouse underneath. I am 5'3", 125 lbs, 36C. Returned and ordered an 8P, hoping for a good fit because the coat is beautiful and timeless.

Wonderful coat but…

Wonderful coat however Macy’s pricing is becoming very unfair. They will only do a price adjustment within 10 days of date of purchase not delivery date. Therefore there’s not much of a window of time to get your refund. I bought three of these jackets and the price keeps dropping daily.

Classic Coat

Based on reviews, I sized up. I’m 5’2” and 128 lbs. I ordered the Petite 12. It’s a keeper. Length, sleeve length both just right. There is just enough room to comfortably wear a sweater underneath. The Petite 10 would have been too small. I missed out on my petite size last year. Glad I ordered early.
