Loved the look, but...
Really cool jacket just too stiff to be comfortable and too snug to wear a sweater underneath.

Very Stiff
This jacket is the opposite of soft leather- it is stiff and uncomfortable. When I showed it to my husband, he said he could actually hear the stiffness of the jacket. The quality was very poor.

Hight Quality, Simple, and Timeless
I usually wear a size small, which corresponds to a size 4 or 6. I bought a size 10 after reading reviews that said the fit runs small. Yes, size up 2X. I tried the jacket with a medium-weight sweater, and it felt cramped. I would size up to 3X to wear with a thick sweater.

Runs Very Small
I ordered both the brown and black jackets. The actual brown jacket is not the same color as the picture, it's a more dull color and there's more of the "burnished"dark color than shown. Additionally, I ordered two sizes up and both jackets are very snug. Although, the brown one is a better fit out of the two. I will probably return them both; however, I really do like them.

Color is beautiful
Purchased the brown in an XSmall for reference 5’7” and 115 lbs athletic shape. Jacket fits too loose. Color is beautiful but leather is not as soft as expected. Returned due to sizing

Disappointed
Very disappointed with this Ralph Lauren line, though the style looks attractive. It came in with a very odd and unpleasant smell, like a piece of leather product without proper process. Materials are stiff. Cut, especially at sleeves, is not even. Unfortunately, I have to return it. Overall, it does not meet with a leather jacket standard, especially from Ralph Lauren.
Perfect Jacket
Like other reviewers I found this jacket to run small. But I went up just one size and the fit was good. I actually bought this jacket in both colors because I wasn't sure which one would work best for me. Turns out I love both of them, so I am keeping them both. I did notice some distinct differences between the black and the dark walnut color. The dark walnut has a much more distressed vintage look with some variations in color and a heavier feel to the leather. I had to train the collar to lay the way I wanted. The brass hardware blends in and is less noticeable. On the other hand, the black jacket is very evenly saturated in color and the leather seems smoother and more lightweight. The silver hardware is sharp looking and stands out as a design feature. The collar was perfect straight out of the package, Either jacket is a wonderful choice that you will enjoy for many years.
Quality excellent but runs exceptionally small
This jacket is gorgeously made and is one of the finest pieces I have in my closet. I managed to snag mine on sale, but the quality of the leather and craftsmanship make it worth the regular price, IMO. My only complaint is that it runs crazy small! I’m between sizes 4 and 6, but based on reviews, I bought it in size 8. Still way too small! I sent it back in exchange for a 12, which fits, but is still quite snug. I could probably wear a 14, but I don’t want the hassle of another exchange. I will say that I am very tall and my shoulders are rather broad, so your mileage may vary, but I would definitely recommend sizing up at least one size. One last thing: the sleeves are long enough for my freakishly long arms, so if you’re lanky like me, you’re in luck! I’m 5’9”, 140 lbs, for what that’s worth.
