Beautiful but long

Beautiful but for taller people. I’m 4’11 and was looking for a coach for Europe. This was absolutely beautiful and fit everywhere except lengthwise…way too long for me.

I like their maxi version better

I’m 5’8” and a size 0. I purchase a size 2 and it has room for a thick sweater, plus layers, and the wrap style helps to define the waist. If I wanted more oversized look, I would have purchased the size 4. However I returned this coat because I chose the RL maxi version of this coat in camel, over this knee length version. I like the longer silhouette because of my height, plus it feels/looks more “coat like” classic to me.

When in Dallas over holidays, I went to Macy's and tried on this fabulous Ralph Lauren coat as well as many other fine brands. Nothing compared to the luxurious feel of the cashmere wool blend of Lauren's. Beautifully tailored, instantly comfortable, I wasn't overwhelmed with its weight and it looked elegant and classic; a fall winter coat I could wear in style for many years. I was fortunate to order the coat on sale online in my size. It arrived well protected and boxed by UPS. I am pleased with my selection and appreciate the excellent customer service at Macy's.
