Great Chanel Quality but Darker than Shown

I’ve got this lip liner, trying to replace one that another brand discontinued. I was looking for something brownish to layer with pink lipstick to give it more of a darker base, and I hoped this would work. Based on the pictures of people with Olive to white skin in the photos, I thought it would be dark, but not super dark.This lip liner looks goth on me, so just beware it is super dark and darker than the picture. The picture sort of makes it look like there’s a rosy brown hue, but it is so dark that I could wear it as an eyeliner. Since I tried it out, I think I’ll just use it as an eyeliner. The quality is great, and these are my favorite lip liners. I like the brush on the other end for putting on lipstick.

Very beautiful color. It doesn't smear. Very gentle for my lips, it doesn't irritate my lips.

Disappointing- tip breaks off easily

I always loved Chanel products and this was my first time trying the pencil lip liner. The tip was receding so I needed to sharpen it to use it first time-and it doesn’t come with a sharpener! Using my eyeliner sharpener, the tip keeps breaking off as soon as I put it on my lip. Very disappointed- waste of money. The color was fine, but a pain to use.
