my second dutch oven, the first one was better

For the high price, I expected the dutch oven to be smooth inside. There were some tiny areas where there were some tiny dots (dent) inside the pot. I wish for a smooth cooking surface. This bothers me when I am cooking, However, I am still able to use it. Also, there was an area that does not have the off white paint inside the hole of the pot lid. I have to make sure that it is screwed tight so that, the moisture will not seep inside the metal handle of the pot lid.

Le Creuset 10, Macy’s 0

I was thrilled to find the 7.25 Qt. Le Creuset Dutch Oven in deep teal (discontinued color) for my daughter’s wedding shower. I have had mine for several years, and I love it! Unfortunately, Macy’s sent me one with a lid that was all scratch up. The Dutch oven was not in an original box, and someone had to wrap it in bubble wrap for shipping, so they knowingly sent me damaged merchandise. There was no mention that the merchandise was scratched anywhere in the online buying process. I was very disappointed (mad, really) with Macy’s!
