Yes, indeed, this is an expensive teapot. But it lives up to expectations regarding the Le Creuset brand. Color cerise matches other cerise pieces and is definitely bright and cheerful. Multi-language instruction book enclosed. Be sure to read info regarding proper cleaning and heating (this is not a campfire teapot). Note that it arrived in a branded box that was carefully packed inside a non-branded shipping box. You can feel confident about ordering drop ship as a gift!
