LeCrueset ceramic frying pan

I was so excited to buy a ceramic frying pan from Le Crueset. I have a few other pieces from this brand that I have for many years and always loved. To my disappointment, this ceramic pan even though I was so careful to use correctl utensils started peeling on the top sides (not the cooking surface). This peeling started about 1 month after I bought it but I figured it was fine because it was not a toxic material and was not on the cooking surface. I recently looked up the safety of eating from a chipped ceramic pan and it said to stop using right away and contact the manufacturer. Now, I’m hoping that LeCrueset will either refund or replace (not with another ceramic pan) my pan. I would not recommend this ceramic pan. I only gave it 1 star because it was required that I give at least 1.

This pan works very well. It cooks my food evenly, and it cleans up easily.
