My husband bought me the ring for our 30th Anniversary, not even a year later the pearl fell out and of course it is lost. So disappointed, especially for the price.
I am so sad
I am so bummed, I have coveted this ring for the past year, it looks so unique and beautiful in the picture. I love pearls and the chocolate diamonds and swirls made it look so special. The price was so high, it was out of the question, but it was the ring I compared all rings to. I looked all over to find the ring to view in person, but could never find it. It would always pop up when I went to the Macy's website and on my online ads. I even sent pictures to my husband - hint, hint. When the price finally came down to what I felt was reasonable, I pulled the trigger. The ring arrived yesterday and was such a disappointment. There are no "chocolate" brown colored diamonds - there are only off colored chips with a dark background. The clear diamonds are very sparkly, but they are teeny tiny itty bitty chips. You need a magnifying glass, you can't even tell what is going on. The photo is so enhanced that it looks completely different in person. Mostly, I am disappointed that none of the "chocolate" diamonds are actually brown tone, just a poor quality looking diamonds. Le Vian sure has a market on selling what would normally un-sellable diamonds by marketing them as "chocolate." In that case, I expect them to be BROWN, not beige, cloudy diamonds. The pearl is average. If only it looked like the picture! The picture was perfect, so beautiful. This is my last online jewelry purchase from Macy's. I have only been disappointed.
