Latch Learn School House
Product details
Web ID: 7938976Perfect for our School Theme
Put this out for when we are on Unit 1 of our curriculum (All About School). Kiddos love playing with the little people, as well as the latches. Lightweight, and an easy toy to put out at the blocks center.

Parts fell Off
I wrote to customer service for a replacement toy. I had to remove this toy from play because of the plastic chain lock part easily falling off. It is small and gold and kids could swallow it. I am disappointed and hope Learning Resources looks into the safety of this product. I bought it for my grandson thinking it was an ideal interactive and safe product for him. Purchased on Oct 26, 2017.

Great Toy!
My 2 year old loves this toy! I love that she can lock and unlock the doors with ease!

Fun, but not super sturdy
The children liked the school house. The only downfall is that the doors break easily.

This is a fun house
This toy was fun in the moment to the children. The children like playing with it and the little people that come with it. It is very useful for young children learning how to maneuver different fine motor skills.

I would buy this again and as a gift.
Even while in the packaging, the kids I care for (ages 1-6) were intrigued and wanted to get started playing. The package was fairly simple to open. The toy presents itself well and didn't need my guidance to get started. It is easily an individual/self play toy. However, can also be used to encourage sharing, taking turns, imagination, and playing together. The older kids had fun playing with the toy people and pretending they were going to school; the younger kids had fun imitating what they saw. Each kid liked working the different locks (really for fine motor skills). They all had some difficulty with the chain type lock on the orange doors, though. There is a certain angle needed to get the plastic circle to fit in place before it will slide. However, it didn't discourage them from playing... they just asked for help. I was impressed to see each of the kids naturally matching the color of the toy person to the color doors that they belonged inside of. There is clock with moveable hands that's great for practicing time telling with, however for this age group it hasn't really gotten any attention. In addition, some my own children (10 and 8 years old) have even sat down with the younger ones to play with the toy. https://www.learningresources.com/product/latch---learn-school-house-7736/ReviewSubmit.do?sortby=ourPicks&pageId=LER7736

Good toy for the right child...
It was a great toy in general, but didn't keep the attention of my 4 and 2-1/2 year old for more than two play sessions. For the right child this would be an excellent toy.
