Real Scientists in the Pre-K
I bought a set of these for my son's preschool. On Fridays, the Pre-K class has a special science time. They go into the "Science Lab," and learn about a variety of topics while conducting experiments. The coats and goggles make them feel like real scientists!!!

Great for kids who love to dress up!
Learning Resources is one of my favorite places to get educational toys for Davey. He loves to play dress-up, so when I found the Primary Science Lab Gear, I just knew he had to have it. He also has the Color Mixing Set from Learning Resources, and loves to wear his Lab Gear when we're doing the Color Mixing Set or other science projects. With the Primary Science Lab Gear, he can feel like a real scientist in his coat and glasses! This set fits most children ages 3-6. It fits Davey just right, right now, and he is 5-1/2, so I'd say the sizing guidelines are pretty accurate. It features two sturdy snaps on the front of the coat to close it, and the lab glasses are made of sturdy plastic that Davey has not managed to break yet - he can be rather destructive sometimes! The sleeves are slightly long, as you can see, but they can easily be rolled up if needed. I like that it doesn't easily wrinkle, as Davey has it thrown in the floor of his closet usually when he is not wearing it, and it never really gets wrinkled! I try to make him hang it up, but he usually forgets. He is not the neatest of kids. If you have a young child who loves playing dress-up or loves doing science activities, then you should definitely check out the Primary Science Lab Gear!
