Everything works to make the point
The biggest flaw is that the steering system has too much play in it, and the steering linkage design has severe bump steer to be taken as a realistic design. However, the lego car does make the point on how things should work in general even though the lego technic elements are too weak to make an off-road monster.

Awesome Technic Vehicle
What a set! It’s got great functions like a 2 speed gearbox, winch, steering, tilting bucket and suspension. Lots of stickers but they really add to the look. Plus it has a terrific side build, a chainsaw. I love these non-licensed sets as they’re reasonably priced. I wish it had an alternate build but other than that there’s not much to be critical about. It’s one of the best value Technic sets you can buy.

Awesome lego set - a little challenging but fun!
This is a great lego set for a teenager. My son had a great time building this set and interacting with it upon completion. It wasn't the easiest set to build. He did get stuck a few times and had to go back but he got it done and really enjoys how it turned out. I would highly recommend this set as a great gift for a teenager!!

great lego set
I received 3 weeks ago the LEGO - All-Terrain Vehicle and it is awesome. My 9 year old boy built the set and it took him a while. The set contains a lot of pieces and he needed to think more than with its usual set. He told me that he loved it, he could see it slowly taking shape. Once built, the set proposes a lot of features, of course the wheels turn, the shock absorbers work great when going into rocks, the bad can go up and down, you can see the engine running and our favorite is the front grapple. Indeed you needed to use a lever to let it go and then turn another lever to put it back in place. My last point is that the set feels really real. The the scale, the shape, the colors are like the real all terrain vehicule. My conclusion is that your kid or even you will enjoy building the set and play with it.
