Cute but not to someone's taste

I opened this the day it arrived and have had it in lounge since, waiting to build it. Zero interest. None. I don't know what I can do to make this appear interesting. I think when I said that we were getting Lego, they thought it would be bigger and the small size is not appealing enough to them. I'm not giving up but I am not forcing the issue. When it happens, I will update.
