Great for Display and Playplay!
This set not only looks gorgeous and has interesting build techniques for hobbyists, but also allows for such a fun well-thought out play feature to decorate the empty apartment with items from the flower shop and the furniture store. One of my new favorites!!

Cool Concept but Lacking Playability!
Super cool looking set that makes a great display piece. Cool building techniques and different unique bricks. However, this set was a little lacking in terms of playability. The design store was cool to look at but didn’t really hold my daughter’s attention since the mini dolls can’t really move around the space. I would have liked if the apartment came with some basic furniture that you could upgrade. In order to “furnish” the apartment, you need to take items out of the store. I would have liked a better community story with this set.

Awesome lego set
Great Lego Friends set. It says 12+ but my 8 year old had a great time building it and playing for hours afterwards with it. Highly recommended kids loved it.

Really fantastic set!
Just WOW. With this being the 10th anniversary of LEGO Friends, I hoped we would get a Modular-sized building to place in Heartlake City and this set comes very close in size and feel. It’s a big step up from regular LEGO Friends sets while still staying true to the the themes' feel. Perhaps the goal is to create a set that will appeal to older children who are starting to enter their Dark Ages, possibly getting bored with the regular sized LEGO Friends sets, but not ready just yet for sets aimed at adults. The 41732 Downtown Flower and Design Stores is a nice bridge between those 2 audiences that was missing for fans of the LEGO Friends theme. The finished front will look great in a city layout, while the open back also gives enough play options.
