Poorly engineered product

This is a very poorly engineered product. We have built it multiple times, and every time the set has just fallen apart. My daughter hasn’t even had the opportunity to play with it. The base is so flimsy that it cannot support the building of the house. Highly disappointed since this was my daughter’s big Christmas gift. In addition, the colors in the manual don’t match. So it is difficult to figure out which piece is which. I have built hundreds of Lego sets over the years. This is by far the worst.

Great but a few flaws

Although a beautiful set, this has 2 major flaws : on Paisley house, the roofs are meant to open (they have hinges) but the big roof is blocked by the chimney and this block also the smaller roof. Also, the colours in the books are often wrong.

It was realky fun to sample. Easy to follow the book how to sample it all. So bestyfull that it is welcome to stand in our livingroom for all to see 😊

Love this set!

It was a fun kit to build. My oldest daughter who is 7, had a lot of fun learning how to follow the booklet and build something much larger than she typically does. I love that this is a set of two houses. It makes for a great play item and I love that the friends line is expandable. We have several kits now and enjoy mixing and matching the characters.
