10/10 Masterpiece Minus Minor QC Glitches
This set is an absolute triumph of design and engineering. As a longtime fan and builder, I can confidently say the experience was top-notch from start to finish. The designers who worked on this set did a truly brilliant job recreating the original Game Boy console—the level of detail, both structurally and aesthetically, is incredible and delivers a massive dose of nostalgia. The building process itself is engaging and sophisticated. Every section feels purposeful, and the final mechanical features are truly impressive. A huge thank you to the team for the quality of the graphic elements: the fact that virtually everything is printed is fantastic and elevates the final display piece significantly. Even the decision to use a sticker for the cartridge mimics the original product and is completely acceptable. My only, and I mean only, complaints are directed at quality control, which is why I can't quite give this a perfect score on the manufacturing front. I received three grey pieces (ID 6354568) that sadly do not match the shade of the surrounding components, which is noticeable on the finished model. More frustratingly, the crucial 'glass' screen piece (ID 6511024) came loose in the bag and arrived with a noticeable scratch. However, these manufacturing issues do not take away from the genius of the set itself. It is still an easy 10 out of 10 product, and one I would recommend to any collector or retro gaming fan without hesitation. A truly outstanding piece of work!

Super sick set!
I didn’t even realise before buying but the inside of the game carts and the console is made to look like the actual inside of both!! The buttons all actually work too which is soooo cool

Took me straight back to my childhood
This was really fun to build and I love the choice of games, personally I went for Zelda over mario and the set it beautiful however I do think it is a big expensive for the number of pieces but i would recommend.

Amazing
I still have one of the real working ones. This set is just amazing. I am impressed with how realistic it looks, feels, and moves. This is definitely one of my favourite sets (and I literally have tens of thousands of dollars of Lego) due to the detail that has gone into the design. Family and friends have actually been fooled, thinking it was a real one. Great build, highly recommend.

Great Build
When I heard that LEGO was releasing a Game Boy, I knew that I wanted to add it to my collection. It is a very easy and enjoyable build. The level of detail is what you would expect from LEGO. It is a true 1:1 scale replica of the Game Boy I grew up playing.

Looks like a real one !
This was small build compared to my normal purchases , but I still found it entertaining and interesting . and importantly enjoyable ! Very impressed with the finished product and when I showed my wife she thought it was an actual Game Boy ! , like the extra game cartridge and that you can change the "screens" if you want to I think for a small set this is really good , and good value in my eyes , it now proudly sits alongside my larger Nintendo and Atari and Pac Man builds
