Really fun, but wish ...

I really enjoyed building this and my three year old hovered the whole time and put in a few pieces. It was fun seeing it light up her imagination. If I'd really studied this before I bought it I would've noticed every detail but when I was building the boathouse I thought for a second it was going to be hagrid's hut and got excited. By the time I was done I really wished it did have his hut, a mini quidditch field, and maybe a small patch of the forbidden forest. With hose few things it would've covered the entirety of the Hogwarts grounds and all the mains settings with major plot points in the books. I still love it but I do wish it had those few additions.

Finally got it!

If you are considering getting the set, I cannot recommend it enough. I have wanted this one for a long time and it is exactly what I was hoping for. I don't want to display the massive Hogwarts Castle (okay I do, I just don't have the space) and this set is perfect for displaying my love of Lego and HP in a reasonable space.
