Disappointing compared to previous calendars

With only a few genuinely clever of innovative mini-builds, and a particularly poor set of minifigs (mostly "Who?" or "Really; a DROID?") options, the weakest Star Wars calendar to date, and I have them all to compare against. Not great.

My Girlfriend is Amazing

A few months ago my girlfriend decided to purchase me this lego as a gift for early Christmas. I kept telling her that I do not want it whilst slowly walking towards to cashier and what do you know, she bought it for me. I waited until the 1st of December and from then on every night I will build one model a day as it is meant to be, showing her what the model is, which movie it appears in and any relevant stories if there is any, honestly she didn't care but yeah I loved it. Honestly, it is indeed a great way to count down till Christmas and being able to have these many models to build and collect, it was no doubt one of the best Christmas gifts I ever got in my life. Recommend to be gifted to your loved ones, whomever that may be whatever their age may be, even though it says 6 to 14 but at the age of 19 here I am, I still love lego and I am grateful my girlfriend had gotten me this product. Get it.

Interesting Builds

This year has seen builds from every era of Star Wars and has had some of the best micro representations of figures, locations and vehicles from the last 5 or so years of calendars.

This year let us down

My son and I have been doing the Star Wars advent calendars for the last few years. Every year it was exciting to get to the end for the unique Christmas figure...like the festive C3PO, White Wookiee...even the BB8 with the Santa hat was better that this year’s offering...a brick build snowman...something that should have been done earlier in the calendar. Might have to skip next years if it doesn’t get any better

Waste of money

Been buying these Star Wars advent calendars for my son now for years & this is by far a huge let down. Repeat figures from previous years & horrible pieces. What kid wants to play with a festive moisture vaporizer?

Not enough.

I started buying Legos again in 2014, when my wife let me buy the snow speeder. A tradition was made that year that we got the Advent calendar and it was great. Until last year, that calendar we didn't get and I was very unsure of this one and after seeing the review I said let's not buy it. But bought it we did and seeing what's in it I'm not satisfied. The sad thing is that I'm worried that Lego/Lucasfilm Will see this critique as a reason to cancel the Advent calendar, pleas don't but have a little more creativity next time around. Maybe a bigger set/sets you would build over the 24 days. With a couple of Minifigures. That's what I did when building the UCS slave 1.
