Epic build

I liked the building techniques which I only needed a little bit of help for so the 8+ rating is good. The head is show accurate but I would like one eye to be grey to represent the scene where Arin accidentally throws a boulder into Egalt’s eye. I like all the moving parts and the wings and it is fairly stable on display.

Great looking dragon

Got given this for Father’s Day from my kids who love ninjago Lego and the show and absolutely loved it. Very different to what I usually build (ideas, Icons, Expert type sets) but the end result is a cool dragon and minifigures to go with it. The dragon build itself was really good and the end result is a decent sized dragon with a cool hat and long whiskers. From what I’ve seen of the show they have got him pretty spot on.

A neat dragon with a unique profile

I buy LEGO almost exclusively to collect the dragons, as I enjoy how they tend to be highly poseable and customizable. This dragon turned out a lot larger than I expected, and it's the first black/ white LEGO dragon I've seen in which the predominant color is black and not white, helps it stand out among the crowd. That being said, the shape of the body strikes me as a touch unnatural, a surprise considering how a lot of recent dragons have looked more and more naturally shaped. Meanwhile, this guy's spine is just caved in like a bowl. A unique profile, sure, if not a slight bit odd. But that's just personal, as is my disappointment that a saddle/ clothing is built into the dragon. The design of the tail is neat, allowing the dragon to wield a sword, and it's nice to see a new moulded dragon head instead of another reprint of the existing shapes. The dragon's bearded appearance makes it look somewhat more like an Eastern dragon than most LEGO dragons, a welcome addition to the bearded dragon club. Complete with the tattered appearance of the wings, the idea of an elderly creature is conveyed well. Overall, I like this dragon. I made some modifications to mine, but only minor ones - it's pretty good as is, in my opinion.

Great For Ninjago Fans

My kids are huge Ninjago fans, but they have so many Ninjago Legos at the moment. I decided to gift this to my nephew, and the look on his face when he received it was priceless! He had fun putting this together and was watching Ninjago while putting it together. It is such a good way to pass time and make precious memories. Bonding time over Legos never gets old and is worth it.

Fun detailed build for ninjago fans

To be honest, when you think of Lego you think Durable and long lasting. This Master Dragon is a great looking beast. It is almost 1.5 ft long and has great detail. My 12 year old son put it together in about 2 hours so it’s not super difficult to assemble. Fun build for Ninjago fans.

Such a fun Lego set

My other photos won't load for some reason, apologies. This is a great Lego set! My youngest two children are currently working on it. They love anything that they have to focus intently on, Legos, Puzzles, etc. So this was a great addition for them. In true Lego fashion, it's been fun for them to put together and it's holding together great. I know that Legos are a bit expensive but I think the time someone spends really putting thought into the build and time spent bonding when building it together with someone(along with having it on display after), makes it well worth it. Plus, you can pass them on to other family members or friends to let them have a chance at building it and that's always awesome.
