Well designed with poor stickers
Overall this is a superbly crafted set, with great details and features. The minifigures are high quality though the absence of the humorous car owner is a miss. The biggest drawback to this set is the low quality stickers. The curved canopy piece should have been printed considering it is difficult to apply (even for adults) and the clear back sticker causes bubbles and markings to form. This makes the entire canopy murky and not totally clear like it should be. The stickers applied to the rest of the plane are also poor and the color of the bricks bleeds through, hurting the overall appearance. I will continue to hope that Lego eventually improves their sticker/printing production considering the high value of their products.

A nice set for a new Indy theme
When I was a kid, I begged my parents for the Fighter Plane Attack set from the old 2008 Indiana Jones theme. I never got it, and only recently acquired one through eBay, but this set is a decent remake, though admittedly not perfect. I've seen other complaints about the canopy sticker, and while I had no trouble applying it, I can understand the frustrations of others. I like the plane's design otherwise, with the flames attached to the underside of the fuselage to simulate it scraping against the road after the wings come off. I'm not the biggest fan of the stud shooters in this set, they don't fit the style of the plane at all. The 2008 version had larger wings, but it also had simple brick-built machine guns mounted under the wings in addition to flick-fire missiles, which I thought looked much better on what is meant to be a WW2-era plane. The car is a decent build. I do wish that it had opening doors or just some windshield glass, but I guess that's expecting a bit much sometimes, especially from a small set. The minifigures, like all the sets in this new line, are phenominal. Indy is very nice with a new torso print with the tie he wore in that scene, Henry Senior is very nice as well, looking even more like the actor than the previous version did, and I was blown away by the detail on the fighter pilot, especially considering LEGO's decision not to make any LEGO sets based on real military vehicles, as well as who the antagonists of Last Crusade were. I'm sad that we probably won't get any more LEGO Indiana Jones sets in this line, especially with the cancellation of the Temple of Doom set, but the ones we did get are very nice and, for the time they've been out, have revived my childhood.

Steal of a deal!
This set was amazing! It’s rare we see a set like this anymore. Both the builds are fantastic, and the minifigure lineup is impressive. All of this for an affordable price!

Underwhelming but useful
I really expected better of Lego. This set can be useful, the car is good, but the 'Messerschmidt' is an absolute disaster. The tail is way too short, and its propeller is two-bladed in the movie, not four bladed, and in this set it is also far too short. The wing-mounted launchers just look stupid, I removed them, and the non-retractable landing gear are sad. Overall it reminds me of a German Focke-Wulf 190 plane, completely different from the Messerschmidt 109 it's supposed to be. I understand Lego is against war themes, but Indiana Jones is literally set during WWII, so if Lego makes the sets, at least try, otherwise just don't. The pilot is good, but that's all that can be said for the plane. I had planned to use this in a World War Two Lego scenario, but decided against it. Other companies offer good sets such as the Messerschmidt that, while expensive, are still made from authentic Lego bricks and are highly detailed. I would pay for a more expensive Lego version if it was even remotely accurate. The car, on the other hand, is good, and I can use it for the scenario.

A great treat for Indiana Jones fans!
A nice small scale tribute to a great teaming of Harrison Ford and Sean Connery.
