Good but not great
The build is very strong but not accurate. The doors, bubble turrets, and commander Fox all could be better. Regardless, it still looks pretty good. I would love to see lego come out with another gunship.

nice!
Its really nice and i do not regret buying it. It looks very pretty on my wall mount and I would 100% Recommend this to anyone. There are some down sides. Like how HARD IT IS TO FIT CLONES IN THERE WITHOUT BREAKING OR HAVING TO REMOVE THE DARN DOOR JEEZ. Like I said very short roof so its hard to fit clones in if your hands arent small. and the door sometimes can fall off but is very easy to put back on. Sometimes when i need to put mini figs inside i take one part off and it slides up. I did lose the front facing guns so mine looks wonky. But it doesn't ruin my set. And the Caption Fox could be much much better. And why is the princeses in here. I would like if they added 3 more clones. 2 for the cockpits, and 4 for the inside. To give it more of a nicer vibe. It looks sad and empty without any guys in it. And i didnt have enough clones so i had to use regular clones for the pilot but i dont reallt care. I would buy again. Needs better inside and better ball turrents

Great set but Fox needs help
I love it but Commander Fox’s printing is pink not white and his torso has other little inaccuracy’s and the set needs a few more clones and Thorn.

Decline in clones
I have been waiting over a decade for a new gunship to release! I was very excited when I heard this set was going to come out two years ago. There are some issues with it though. One of the standout features of the Republic Gunship are the bubble turrets on the sides of the wings. This set is missing them, and instead the give you ugly stud shooters as a stand in. The minifigures are also flawed. The Captain Fox minifig is not printed correctly, with the white highlights on the torso coming out as pink. The Padme figure has the same minifig head we've seen on countless female figures over the years, despite Lego creating a perfect facial expression for character in the last gunship set in 2013. Good set because I was hyped for it, but lots left on the table.

Nearly perfect
Great set, wish that that it included bubble turrets and the rocket launchers though. I’d say the only downside is the inaccurate commander fox minifig

Cool looking, but could do more!
I'm really delighted with how the set looks. Putting it together was a joy, but once it's done there's not much to do besides open the doors. There's a big empty cargo area in the front with nothing to fill it with, and the missiles on top aren't represented in this version of the model. It's unfortunately also a little unwieldy with how unbalanced it is when holding it by the carry handle. It's a cool model, but I think younger builders especially might be disappointed with how little there is to do.

Underrated, Gets a Bad Rap
I'm gonna be honest: I really like this set. Of course, there are some pretty bad and noticeable issues, like the turrets on the end of the wings, the doors being only one instead of two, and the limited space in the cargo hold, but the design and colors are great. This could be a good or bad thing (depending on how you look at it), but with just a few modifications like adding ball turrets and cleaning up a few things would make this set perfect. Overall, it's a decent set if you can find it on sale.
