Star Wars 75348 Mandalorian Fang Fighter vs. TIE Interceptor Toy Building Set with the Mandalorian, the Mandalorian Fleet Commander & TIE Pilot Minifigures
Product details
Web ID: 15918882Excellent Set for Star Wars Fans!
In my opinion, the TIE Interceptor is the highlight of this set. I've been waiting for one for a long time since the last official version of this ship was released in 2006, and it doesn't disappoint. It's detailed, fun to build, and fairly sturdy, and I think it's equally at home in the hands of collectors or kids. I enjoyed the Mandalorian Fang Fighter build too, a lot more than I expected. It's sleek, and the white and dark gray color scheme pops in comparison to the TIE. The Minifigures are also great, with pilots for each ship plus Din Djarin himself. There aren't many play features aside from the opening cockpits and spring-loaded launchers, but the builds are great for swooshing around. Overall, I'd say this set is a great value for the price, although I wish the ships had been sold separately.

MASTER PIECE
This is legendary, I played with it all evening, and the next, and the next. I don’t know what yall even talking bout the fang fighter. It is sick!!!! Love the little bomb thing in the front! Tie interceptor is great too, but doesn’t stand that well. It falls forward a lot, and no place for the droid? I bet you he feels left out😢 Overall THIS IS THE WAY!! Razor Crest I’m coming your way!!! And I can bring you in warm, or I can bring you in cold.

The Best Playscale Tie Interceptor
Lego's remake of the playscale Tie Interceptor is fantastic. It has great looks, solid construction, and nice size. The Fang Fighter is very flat but is ok. The figures are nothing special. This set is worth it just for the interceptor.

Cool but Lacking
This set is very cool, I like the ships and figs a lot. There are some issues I find, however: the TIE Interceptor is a bit too small, and the “Fang Fighter” is way too small. It’s more of a drop ship in the series. Also, in both the Clone Wars show and the Mandalorian, the Gauntlet-class fighters (which this is, Fang-class fighters are significantly different; see Lego set #75316), have the ability to rotate their wings into a landing position, which this set does not. Otherwise it’s pretty cool though.

All Around Excellent
LEGO’s recent focus on “Versus” sets are great and feel worth their amount. The Interceptor looks beautiful in person and a great alternative if you don’t wish to buy the UCS Version. The Fang Fighter gets too much hate, it’s a great small build and the perfect fit for “Versus” set, as I would have not bought it without the Interceptor.

Great Build & High Playability
Son bought this for himself with bday money and we both really enjoyed the build. We raced with me tackly the Fang and him the Tie interceptor. Afterwards everyone had a go with flying about and launching shots at one another. It is his first StarWars set and he's completely switching over from all the Minecraft sets of years past
