Lego box smashed in shipping
Will be returning the Lego set. It was shipped in a box with no packaging, and the Lego box arrived smashed. It was to be a gift; unacceptable. The price was nice (bought on sale), but I have since reordered from a more reliable store and will now have to organize a return.
Terrible customer service
Shipment was delayed from a provider THEY chose to use. I was offered a “free return” like returns should cost anything. Then they have me a 25% off coupon for my next purchase only find there are HUNDREDS of brands and over 1,000 items that are excluded from the discount. They just wanted to push off the complaint to someone else

Great build, missing a few steps in the instructions but it all worked out.

Missing Pieces
I bought this set because I was very excited when it was released. When I received it in the mail, I was very excited to begin building it, as I had worked hard to save money to buy it. A little bit into the building of the set, I realized a critical piece was missing from the bag. I looked all over and checked in the bags, but it was not there. This is majorly disappointing because without it, I could not continue to build the model. This has not been the first time this has happened, as last year, I purchased the 42175 Volvo FMX and EC230 set and it was also missing a piece, but it was a simple and non-critical component, unlike the piece I am missing from this set which is an important part that controls multiple features on the model. On top of that, it will take up to two weeks for LEGO to send me a replacement piece. This is unacceptable for 2 sets that I have purchased to be missing pieces, as LEGO has a high quality control. I have been a fan of their products for a very long time and this has not happened until these two particular incidents. This is very unfortunate and I will have to wait for my replacement to finish and enjoy this set.

Loveeee
My truck loving son was SO excited to get this. I love how great the instructions were and the final truck seems pretty sturdy. A little worried with the tiny pieces for my toddler but just had to be aware.

Fun build for me and kiddos
This was such a fun build, I love the pieces that move and the real tires. The only thing I don’t love about the Technic series is that in my opinion the sides being open the way they are makes it look “not done” almost. Otherwise it was a really fun build and was just under 1000 pieces.

It was a fun build lots of features.I enjoyed how all the gears went together.Its the perfect size for display considering its size features very good value

Fun to build and play with.
My 12 year old nephew eagerly put this set together. He said that on a scale of 1-10, he rated it a 3 on difficulty. He enjoyed putting it together with the only criticism was a couple of the directions were a little confusing.
