My favorite dinnerware

I have a service for twelve in nearly every piece of French Perle Groove white. I also have serving pieces in FPG plus some accessory pieces in French Perle. It is my favorite dinnerware. Over the years I have learned through trial and error that hand washing dinnerware is the best way to care for any kind of nice stoneware or China. I don't put it in the microwave although it says you can. The dishwasher detergent is way too harsh and the microwave oven is a menace to most everything nice. Take care of what you enjoy. My husband even likes our FPG. Buy it. Take care of it. Enjoy it.

scratch mark remedy

Use Bar Keepers Friend cleanser on these marks & it will remove them.

Microwavable

Very pretty and exactly what I wanted. However, first time I put a dinner plate in the microwave it cracked in half. Very disappointed

Lovely but Impractical

As one would expect of Lenox, these dishes are beautiful and high quality. Unfortunately, the dinner plates do not fit into a standard kitchen cabinet, which is problematic. Nor are they white. They're more of a cream color ... which isn't the color I wanted. Sadly, and inconveniently, I've already initiated the return process.
