designed for use

I enjoyed it the moment it arrived I have used it as a soup Bowl and it's purposes of rice Bowl it holds two cups so I was not surprised when I used an ice cream scoop of rice

Bigger than expected

I was looking for a rice bowl (like that I am served rice in by my Chinese friends) that would match my Eternal china. This one is much larger than rice bowls I am familiar with, and somewhat heavy. Not at all delicate. It matches the china and seems durable, just not what I had envisioned.
