advertised wrong
This tablecloth is advertised as oval but a rectangular tablecloth was shipped. very disappointing.
Beautiful but not oval
Beautiful tablecloth that washes well. Love that it’s wide enough for my oversized table. Item description is inaccurate however, as this is NOT an oval tablecloth. Ordered 2, white and platinum. Both arrived as rectangular cloths. Making do but I truly needed the oval cloths.
Oblong not oval
I ordered an oval tablecloth and although the table cloth I received was beautiful, it was oblong not oval. Inaccurate product description.
Macys sent wrong item
I ordered oval and received oblong. Called customer service immediately, and was told it will take 2 to 5 days to review my complaint and decide if they will send a replacement. So I won't have what I ordered when I need it.
Does the trick
Picked mine up today at the store and took it home to open. Like other buyers said, this is not an OVAL tablecloth. It is rectangular, but we are making it work. It definitely needs to be ironed after it comes out of the dryer on a delicate cycle. Purchased it in white and it is attractive and a good value. Napkins had to be purchased separately and won't arrive until next week. We'll see what happens with food spills and how easily they come out.
Great tablecloth but inaccurate description.
I ordered the platinum oval 70x104 size, but as it happened to others buyers, I received a rectangular one. It is NOT OVAL not even at the corners. Also it is worth to note that though the description describes it as platinum, which sounds like on the gray side, in reality it looks more like beige color. Not even a light gray. I'm keeping it because the pattern is beautiful, it is good quality and nicely made. Good looking tablecloths of this size are hard to find at an affordable price.
Beautiful tablecloth but…
The tablecloth is beautiful - much nicer than I had anticipated. There’s a silver tone luster, and it goes even better with my white dishes than i anticipated. The “but” is that I ordered an oval tablecloth and received a rectangle one. That is the frustration of ordering online. I’m worn the days when Macy’s had a full linen department and one could look at the merchandise and check the label before taking it home.
