FInally! One of the highest quality chocolates!

I couldn't believe I could buy Leonidas Chocolates at Macys! It's one of the best highest quality chocolates you can buy, and I use to buy them when I lived in Europe. when i moved back to the US, I was limited to where I can buy it and I had to buy a large amount to justify the shipping cost. Now, I can buy from Macys! Yay! I highly recommend this chocolate if you purchase it from Macys! FYI: One of the best way to tell if the chocolate is of high quality or not, is the amount of Cocoa Butter it contains. It is also very good for your health if eaten in moderation.

A few odd putrid flavors - Not good as Red Box

Very odd artificial banana flavor in one. Another a strange harsh putrid mocha flavor. Did not seem nearly as good as the selection in the red jewel box. Not the same level of candy with some odd ones.

I bought these for myself. I love chocolate, with my top 3 brands in order as follows. Neuhaus, Godiva, Leonidas. Thank goodness these were for myself. Box was wrapped beautifully. I opened it and the chocolate was stale , with bloom all over several pieces. One of the fruit pieces was hollow, like the filling had rotted out. I would have been mortified to give this as a gift. Macy’s was good about refunding me , though.
