The size was way off. He wears 30x31 which they don’t make odd numbers for length anymore but it was 6 inches from fitting at waist to button.

Wrong size
Really sad. Been Levi person over 50 years. First ordered 517 ended up being stretch, hate stretch. Sent back. Got coupon but not any good on 517. Wife ordered pair for me for Christmas. Easy 34-34 pair even marked on jeans as such. Guess what -- when measured, they turned out to be 34-36. So will once again have to send them back. Unfortunately, .because stores do not sell 517. Bummed

Boot cutters
Nice pants. Heavier weight denim. Tight fitters haha in butt, legs. Great high rise. Think Magnum PI pants from 1980. Similar look and fit. They didn’t shrink much. Length ran a tad long.

OLD VS. NEW
The 517's were my only go to from the time they were created. The new 517 stretch jeans are similar but not the same. They don't have the lasting body the originals had.

Butch sapphic lesbian fit
Pants fit perfectly! They fit people with larger thighs and seat really well. Very good balance. I went a size up more than I usually do on the waist, they fit like a gem.

Don't like the crease in material on legs. Lighter color will take too long to wash out. I have 4-new pair not happy with.

Ordered two pair of 517's, both were like two sizes two small. They were apparently missed marked.
