My first 541s

These were on sale 40% off, a crazy deal, so thought I would try some, despite the stretchy nature. I prefer traditional 100% cotton thick denim STF 501s, which I have worn for decades, and I now like 505s too. The 99% cotton ones work fine too, but these 541s have polyester and elastine, are every stretchy, only 88% cotton. Not really my thing. I bought my normal size but with the loose fit design of the 541, and stretchy materials, I have to wear them with a belt, and they are baggy. I should have sized down. The fabric and look is also not as nice as the all cotton models IMO. That said, since it is a loose fit, I don't feel the stretch as much, and I got them at such a good sale price I have found a role for them, around the house, yardwork, etc. Going out, I opt for the 501s or 505s.
