The Modern Black started to show wear signs faster than the Rigid - Dark Wash (indigo) STF model. The black dye in the whiskers and the seat had lightened up just after a few days of wear. The black, not STF 501 that I own turned hideous after the front of the thighs area have lost the black dye significantly - although without much whiskers visible. This is with restrained & infrequent washing.

My 501s are a perfect fit
Love my new 501s. They look great and feel great. I had ordered black colored ones by mistake and Levis were super easy to work with to return them and order new ones. The new ones came faster than I expected.

LEVI'S FOR LIFE!
I've been wearing many different iterations of Levi's jeans since I was around 12 yrs old, I'm 44. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my 501's! They are by far my favorite. I currently own 10 pairs, one of which are Selvedge, that rotate out on a weekly basis. I will never buy any other style or brand. They last forever and they never go out of style. The darker the wash the better for when they fade the wear marks are beautiful. The stories that are hidden within each pair from the stains to the wear marks to the fades, rips, tears and scuffs are legendary. #levisforlife

Perfect wear for all day long
I gifted the 501 original fit men's jeans from Levi's to my husband which I received for free in exchange for my honest review and feedback. The jeans are a beautiful light denim color and is true to size. This has fly buttons which can be a little inconvenient for some of you're used to zipper. The length is perfect and the denim is high quality and is very comfortable to wear even all day long. All in all, very satisfied with this pair of jeans from Levi's.

Color
Fit well and i like the jeans, just not the color i wanted. Is normal, pre-shrunk, dark blue jeans no longer available in this 501 sleight stretch pattern?
